We are seeking a committed and ambitious Property Manager to oversee a property with 150 units of affordable housing. The position will manage part of the team responsible for a community of senior housing in Newton and will report up to the Deputy Chief Nahanton Campus. The duties and responsibilities will include:
Supervise and assist compliance staff in activities including but not limited to completing recertifications, completing AMR/MOR audits and qualifying applicants for new occupancy;
Supervise office staff responsible for invoices, receivables, office supplies and vendor management;
Collaborate with maintenance to ensure efficient completion of apartment turnovers and work orders;
Develop and monitor budget to actuals;
Manage resident relations and ensure effective resident communication across all departments;
The community is part of a larger campus, including a first-of-its-kind retirement community designed for the middle-income market, offering independent living and medical care services through preferred medical partnerships. With 174 apartments, our community provides a supportive and dynamic environment where seniors can thrive with tailored care and services.
Your Qualifications:
We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills and a strong customer service mindset. Strong organizational and time management skills will also be key to success in this role.
3-5 years experience in property management, including Project-Based Section 8.
COS, CPO, C3P, or other designations would be a plus.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) is required; experience with Yardi is preferred.
Bilingual English/Russian is a plus, but not required.
