Position Summary
The Director, Residential Property Management is responsible for leading team members of the residential property management team. Exceptional residential experience is the foundation of the property management team. This Leader shall have deep experience in residential property management including revenue management, expense controls within the framework of maximizing profitability while considering resident experience, property improvements, vendor oversight, while providing guidance and development of the individual team members and best practices.
Qualifications

3 years of experience in management, leadership ,and/or administration

CPM, RPA designations or active candidacy for similar designations strongly preferred

Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience

5+ years' experience in multi-site property management
-
Proven success in budgeting, financial management, team development, performance management and leasing.

Ability to problem solve and make strategic decisions; ability to be creative, flexible, and adaptable to new situations and assignments.

Must be able to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
Responsibilities
-
Oversee property management for diversified residential property portfolio.

Effectively help implement investment strategy
-
Guide team members on updating resident programs to engage the residents in best of class living experiences for retention, word of mouth marketing and ultimate resident satisfaction

Report regularly to Leadership regarding property performance

Lead and support team in management of all properties within the assigned portfolio including the building of strong on-site management teams through coaching and motivation

Support the implementation of effective cost control, revenue maximization and delinquency management plans

Guide Property Managers with major tenant/resident challenges and opportunities when necessary

Conduct regularly scheduled one-on-one meetings with reporting team members and beyond
