Asset Manager A San Diego based, privately held firm established in 1979, specializing in Real Estate Management, Investment and Development is seeking an Asset Manager.
Job Description General Position Summary Oversees, plans and manages all assets in San Diego County and the Inland Empire. Plans and directs all asset management policies, objectives, and initiatives. The position is responsible for the overall success of the administrative, financial, capital, and operations of the asset portfolio. The Asset Manager is a member of the Executive Management Team working to strategize short and long range organizational goals. Ideal candidate must have the ability to multitask, be a self-starter and self-motivator, and also must have a professional demeanor and appearance.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Reporting Responsibilities The Asset Manager reports directly to the President and works closely with the CEO and CFO. The following persons report directly to the Asset Manager:

Education and/or Experience Candidate must have a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in business or related field with sufficient experience to provide strong leadership in property management practices and techniques. Approximately 8 years equivalent level experience in managing a property management department or division strongly preferred. Experience with YARDI or similar property management software is required. Certifications/Licenses: CPM and/or CCIM preferred. California Real Estate Broker license required. This position will require occasional travel to over 35 properties throughout San Diego County. Candidate must possess a valid California driver’s license and reliable transportation. |
