| Asset Manager A San Diego based, privately held firm established in 1979, specializing in Real Estate Management, Investment and Development is seeking an Asset Manager. Job Description General Position Summary Oversees, plans and manages all assets in San Diego County and the Inland Empire. Plans and directs all asset management policies, objectives, and initiatives. The position is responsible for the overall success of the administrative, financial, capital, and operations of the asset portfolio. The Asset Manager is a member of the Executive Management Team working to strategize short and long range organizational goals. Ideal candidate must have the ability to multitask, be a self-starter and self-motivator, and also must have a professional demeanor and appearance. Essential Duties and Responsibilities - Suggest objectives and goals for each property.
- Participate in property operating budgets’ preparation and approval process.
- Produce reports on assigned portfolio monthly, quarterly.
- Carry out a monthly review of operating statements.
- Assist in conducting due diligence and financial modeling for new acquisitions and dispositions
- Perform financial analysis, market studies and industry standard reporting.
- Perform implementation, negotiation, and monitoring of asset programs.
- Boost asset and revenue values through identified savings and efficiencies.
- Create reports and perform analysis to identify potential loan delinquencies and revenue losses.
- Ensure current policies are reviewed and updated.
- May implement training and development programs.
- Provide recommendations and implement changes for property improvements based on thorough analysis and experience.
- Analyze property financials and performance metrics in pursuit of maximizing revenue and minimizing expenses
- Problem solve property and portfolio level issues through research, analysis and implementation
- Assist in the development and monitoring of strategies to maximize asset values within the portfolio
- Complete property inspections as part of monitoring property performance, management execution and property capital needs
- Handle special projects as instructed
Reporting Responsibilities The Asset Manager reports directly to the President and works closely with the CEO and CFO. The following persons report directly to the Asset Manager: - Senior Portfolio Manager
