PRC is currently seeking to fill a Regional Property Manager position to oversee assigned apartment and condominium locations throughout southeast Michigan with a portfolio consisting of up to 1,500 units. This position permits the ability to work remotely but will require periodic travel to the portfolio properties and central office.
The Regional Manager will conduct all business in accordance with company policies and procedures, Fair Housing, Americans with Disabilities Act, Fair Credit Reporting Act, etc.
Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to: direct monitoring/management of housing portfolio including: capital projects, financial goals, resident relations, building maintenance, supply purchasing, service contracting, lease administration activities, and reporting to other federal, state, and municipal agencies. Financial accountability with regular budget variance reporting. Maintain communication with vendors and contractors. Hire, train, terminate, motivate, and supervise on-site property managers and on-site staff. Attend scheduled corporate management meetings and training seminars. Submit required reports to corporate office on a monthly and quarterly basis. Maintain positive staff and customer service attitude. Initiate and implement corporate policies/procedures. Physically walk and inspects property on a regular basis assessing conditions for safety and curb appeal. Monitor property vacancy status on a regular basis to ensure goals are met. Maintain awareness of neighborhood market condition as well as an awareness of market/industry conditions.

Ideal candidate must possess: 3 years experience in multi –site apartment property management, a BA/BS degree, strong and effective management skills, verbal and written communication skills, financial analysis skills, supervisory experience, effective leadership and interpersonal aptitude, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. Yardi experience a plus. CPM designation is preferred but not required.
